On the 30th of September, we were very lucky to be featured on the 5FM Afternoon Drive show. During the last few months, fires have continued to spread throughout South Africa, and this was a great way for more people to become aware of the situation. Below is the clip from the show in which Toli was interviewed:
This is not the first time we’ve received media coverage, with KayaFM’s David O’Sullivan capturing some of the footage from Mandela Day, where we celebrated our 67 minutes in helping to distribute food and blankets to the people living in the Zandspruit community. Once everyone had arrived, we were able to demonstrate the Put It Out fire extinguisher right there, thanks to quite a large fire. However, we weren’t alone. KayaFM’s David O’Sullivan was also there to capture some of the footage.
We really appreciate all the support we receive, and we will be trying our best to get as many fire extinguishers to those who need it the most.
